As the cost of TFT display modules decreases and the desire for more graphical yet user-friendly interfaces increases, more and more companies are making use of the TFT technology to their own advantage.
TFT displays have completely taken over what used to be the throne of CRT monitors. Everyone would prefer to have an LCD TFT display monitor which is lighter, portable and more compact than the bulky and heavy Cathode Ray Tube display. The fact that TFT LCD displays do not cause much strain to the eyes is another great reason why this type of monitor is viewed as the better option. In the business industry, TFT LCD monitors are now being commonly used for different purposes. These monitors, which are commonly referred to as flat screens, are very useful in business meetings and conferences. Replacing projector displays, TFT flat screens are now being used to display more interesting and colorful graphical presentations in conferences and even in small corporate meetings where visual aids are needed. TFT display modules are also commonly used as display units for industrial uses. In grocery stores, malls and convenient stores alone, we often see flat screens being used in sales machines. Wall mounted flat display screens are also commonly seen in the aforementioned areas displaying product information, advertisements and promotional gimmicks of the store, urging the public to try and buy their products.
Outside commercial buildings and in public squares, large flat screen displays are now being seen displaying colorful, eye-catching and moving graphics, replacing the traditional billboards that can only show one image.
